A night nurse service provides specialized overnight care for your newborn or infant while you get much-needed sleep. Our CPR-certified specialists handle nighttime feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and basic newborn care during the overnight hours. They keep track of feedings and changes so you're not left guessing what happened overnight. This service is designed to help new parents recover physically and emotionally during the demanding early months, following your parenting preferences and baby's natural rhythms.

Our service will be available starting Fall 2025. We're currently building our team of certified specialists to ensure we can provide the highest quality care when we launch.

All of our night specialists will be CPR-certified, extensively background-checked, and experienced in newborn care. We require professional childcare experience, specialized training in newborn care, and excellent references. Our rigorous vetting process ensures only the most qualified, trustworthy professionals join our team.

We specialize in caring for babies from newborn to 12 months. Our primary focus is on the critical early months when nighttime support makes the biggest difference for new parents.

Our service will include an initial placement fee to match you with the right specialist for your family, plus an hourly rate for overnight care. We understand that quality overnight care is an investment, and we're working to make this essential service accessible to Tahoe families. We plan to offer two options to help with this: a gift registry option where friends and family can contribute toward your night care (perfect for baby showers!), and a sliding scale program for families who need assistance. We believe all new parents deserve support, regardless of financial circumstances.
